In one verse, the little cockroach becomes an expert at playing the guiro and maracas – two popular Latin American percussion instruments.

These beautiful dances were videotaped during a cultural week at the Monterrey Campus of the University of Mexico in November of 2008. Beautiful dancing, traditional outfits and amazing dance moves.

This version; complete with dancing cockroaches, tells a story of a little cockroach who could dance and play the guiro – an instrument from Latin America. It’s a perfect song for learning Spanish or English, or just for having some musical fun!
