French Lullabye

Posted by: | Comments (0)

A pretty French lullabye about a hen. We’re not exactly sure how the pictures match the song, but they are lovely. Here’s a translation: It was a little black hen who would lay (an egg) in the cupboard. It lays a small egg which the child ate hot. It was a little white hen who would lay (an egg) in the barn. It lays a small egg which the child ate hot. It was a little red hen who would lay (an egg) in the moss. It lays a small egg which the child ate hot. It was a little brown hen who would lay (an egg) on the moon. It lays a small egg which the child ate hot.

TRAVEL THE WORLD: Meet Me In Zimbabwe

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Would you like to take a trip around the nation of Zimbabwe in Africa? This song and video let you travel to see the scenery, beautiful people, cities, countryside, delicious food, smiling people and so much more. This song is a photographic tour of that beautiful land by a group called Children of Nandi, a South African/Zimbabwe duo based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Along with some delicious food dishes, you can also see a delicacy from this area of Africa called Mopani worms. Yes, they are real worms that you eat – yum!
